Kathryn: Treatment Coordinator

My favorite thing about my job is the relationships I form with my patients. Being able to see the patients from day one and make them feel like part of our family throughout their time here is such a meaningful experience to me.

I've worked in the field of orthodontics and Zaytoun Orthodontics since 2007, and my favorite thing about it is that it's never just about creating a beautiful smile, it's about changing someone's life for the better, and I love being a part of that. I love how grateful our patients are for their experiences with us and also how excited they get about their transformations.

My favorite thing about working with Dr. Henry Sr. is his dedication to and enthusiasm for his profession and the lifelong relationships he creates with his patients. I love Dr. Mary Paula's drive to meet every individual's needs and her willingness to go out of her way to help her patients and team members ... and her laugh! My favorite thing about Dr. Henry Jr. is the poise and confidence he embodies every day in his work and also the way he challenges our team to be the best that we can be.

I'm from Shelby, North Carolina, and have lived in Raleigh for 6 years. When I'm not at work, I love to spend time with my high school sweetheart and husband, William, and our dog, Wilson J, as well as reading, cooking, and participating in church activities.

Haley: Treatment Coordinator

I have been working as a treatment coordinator in the orthodontics field since 2008, and every day I love knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of children and adults, because I truly believe that a beautiful smile is absolutely priceless. My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is getting to meet so many new people, and having the opportunity to help people throughout their orthodontic journey. I also really enjoy working with the doctors. Dr. Zaytoun Sr. has such a passion for orthodontics and helping his patients, Dr. Mary Paula is genuinely interested in her patients' lives, she always keeps up with what each of them is doing in work, school, and play, and Dr. Henry Jr. is so professional and has an incredible work ethic.

Our patients also play a big role in making my job so wonderful! Their energy and enthusiasm rub-off on all of us, and they are the number one reason that I look forward to being at the practice every day.

I am originally from Chapel Hill, NC, and have lived in Raleigh for a couple years. My family, my mother, father, older sister, her husband, and their two children all live in Chapel Hill. Outside of work, I love going on walks, spending time at the beach, and shopping! Singing is one of my favorite pastimes, and in high school, I played the role of Sandy in the play Grease!

Anna: Appointment Coordinator

I have been working in the field of orthodontics for almost 25 years! (all at Zaytoun Orthodontics) I love the interaction with the patients and parents, and how they always have time to say hello and ask how everything is going. I do everything I can to help patients set appointments that work with their schedule.

I love watching the changes the patients go through during their treatment and the smile and sparkle in their eyes the day the braces are removed.

Our doctors are wonderful to work with. Dr. Henry Sr. is a wealth of information and always has good advice. Dr. Mary Paula has taught me to pay attention to and appreciate all kinds of artwork.

I am originally from Long Island, New York, and moved to Raleigh in 1982 as a newlywed. I am married and have three sons. (I can't wait for one of my sons to marry and make me a "Nana Anna"!) In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, crocheting, quilting, cooking, hiking, camping, and reading.

Bryna: Appointment Coordinator

I started working in the orthodontic field and for Zaytoun Orthodontics in 2000, and my favorite part of the job is helping patients and parents any way that I can. I love working with all of our friendly patients and making great smiles!

I love working with our doctors because of Dr. Henry Sr.'s dedication, Dr. Mary Paula's personality with patients, and Dr. Henry Jr.'s advice regarding my own children.

I am originally from Hazelton, Pennsylvania, and have lived in Raleigh for 23 years. I enjoy spending time with my family and running my children to all their activities. I'm enjoying this precious time, especially since I have a son going to college in 2010!

Melania: Treatment Assistant

I've been working in the field of orthodontics since 2001, and the best part of working in orthodontics is that we get to change people's lives, giving them hope and confidence to live their lives with a smile on their faces! I enjoy working with my hands and interacting with people - it gives me a great rewarding feeling at the end of every day.

Our doctors' passion for their work and for our patients is inspiring! I love Dr. Henry Sr.'s determination, and his kindness in his interactions with people. Dr. Mary Paula has a beautiful heart and shares that with her patients; she's strong and always has a smile on her face. Dr. Henry Jr. has a real dedication to the practice. Even with a big family, he manages to have enough room in his heart for the patients.

Patients are the ones who make my job so much enjoyable. Most of our patients are younger, so it's fun to know what goes on in school and to talk to them in a very comfortable environment. They trust us and that is the greatest feeling! Getting to know our adult patients and having a connection with them is priceless.

I'm originally from Mineola, New York, and have lived in Raleigh for almost 3 years now. My mom and brother in Delaware are two of the most important people in my life.

In my spare time, I love to just stay home and snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie. I'm very much into going to the gym .... at least for the moment! I started snowboarding this year and I love it!!!

Tetyana: Treatment Assistant

I am a treatment assistant at Zaytoun Orthodontics, and I have been working here since 2003. I love what I do as a treatment assistant, and I truly enjoy being part of such a wonderful, dedicated, caring team of doctors and staff. There's always something new to learn, and our patients bring so much joy and excitement to each appointment. It is a pleasure to work with the doctors at Zaytoun Orthodontics. Each of our doctors shows a high level of professionalism, and are determined to help each patient achieve a beautiful smile.

I am originally from the Ukraine, and have lived in Raleigh for almost ten years. Outside of orthodontics, I enjoy travelling, reading, spending time with my family, and being involved in different community organizations and local activities. I absolutely love red roses, although I will always welcome roses of any color, no matter what the occasion!

Lauren: Treatment Assistant

I have been working in orthodontics and at Zaytoun Orthodontics since May 2007, and really appreciate the family atmosphere. Our team contributes a huge amount in making sure that Zaytoun Orthodontics is one of the best orthodontic practices in North Carolina.

My favorite thing about Dr. Henry Sr. is how he spends quality time with each patient, making sure that all their needs are met. Also, his kindness and caring nature enriches the practice and supplies the office with a wonderful atmosphere.

Dr. Mary Paula's outgoing personality and charisma make coming to work fun! She really relates to people and understands the concerns of each patient. I learn a lot from Dr. Henry Jr.'s confidence in practicing orthodontics. He brings an assurance to the practice and a guarantee that each patient will be individually taken care of, based on their needs.

My favorite thing about my job is definitely the people and being able to work with my hands. I love conversation and enjoy being challenged with new tasks each day. There is never a dull moment at Zaytoun Orthodontics!

I love that our patients want to get to know us and take time to let us get to know them. We have very loving and appreciative patients, and for that I am thankful.

I have lived in the Raleigh area for 22 years. I am very close to my family: my mom, Ina Clark Taylor; my dad, Maylon Bruten Taylor II; and my older brother, Zachary (Zack) Ryan Taylor.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy running. I hope to eventually work my way up to running marathons for medical and dental fundraisers. Also, since biology was my major in college, I enjoy learning about marine life and other scientific fields. I am currently applying to dental school.

Daniel: Treatment Assistant

My name is Daniel and I work as a treatment assistant at Zaytoun Orthodontics. I started working in orthodontics because I love helping others; and as a treatment assistant, I have the ability to work with a wonderful group of people to help improve the quality of life for many patients. Working with Dr. Henry Sr., Dr. Mary Paula, and Dr. Henry Jr. is great experience and a pleasure. Each doctor is so patient and laid back, and they all have a passion for orthodontics and a willingness to share their knowledge with their patients.

I am originally from Goldsboro, NC, and have lived in Raleigh now for over 5 years. I have one older sister, and one younger brother. Growing up I became an Eagle Scout, and in my spare time, I enjoy fishing, sports, any outdoor activity, and volunteering in the community. I'm a graduate from NCSU and hope to one day attend dental school.

Martha Lee: Treatment Assistant

My name is Martha Lee, I am a treatment assistant, and have been working in the field of orthodontics since 2003. I started my career in orthodontics working as a lab technician through high school and holiday breaks during college. I love working in orthodontics because I am able to witness the wonderful changes in our patients throughout their treatment. Everybody's teeth are different, and it is interesting and exciting to see how our doctors are able to give patients their own individual beautiful smiles. Dr. Henry Sr., Dr. Mary Paula, and Dr. Henry Jr. are such kind, generous, and patient people; they work hard, and have so much energy and enthusiasm that it's hard not to enjoy your time spent at our practice. I know them better than most because they are my grandfather, aunt and uncle.

I am originally from Miami, FL and have lived in Raleigh for over 12 years. I have one older brother, who is also going into the dental field. After work, I enjoy running and jumping on my trampoline (I was a gymnast for many years). I also love to paint and cook. I just graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, and I am so happy to be working with such a great team of wonderful people!

Mary Lanier:

I have worked in the orthodontic field for as long as I can remember. I started out doing small jobs around the practice, and now I am a treatment assistant for Dr. Henry Sr., Dr. Mary Paula, and Dr. Henry Jr.. My favorite thing about orthodontics is having the opportunity to meet so many different people and learning about all of the neat things that our patients are doing with their lives. Orthodontics is a life changing experience, and it's exciting for me to be such an important part of our patients' lifelong health. I enjoy working with my father, grandfather, and aunt; and, I truly believe that having a strong family presence about our practice will make all of our patients fell at-home, and comfortable.

I have lived in Raleigh all my life, with one older brother, one younger brother, and five younger sisters! My hobbies, outside of work, include swimming and running. I currently attend UNC Chapel Hill and I help with the UNC swim team. I'm in the Tri Delta Sorority, and I love all of the fun activities and great friendships that I've made while at school. I'm excited to welcome you to our practice, and all of the smiles we will share!

Chris - Finance Manager

I've been working in orthodontics and at Zaytoun Orthodontics since 1998, and it's a privilege to work with this fantastic team! It's so satisfying to see how orthodontics brings self-esteem to our patients. My favorite thing about Dr. Henry Sr. is that he makes me and all our patients feel like family. I love how Dr. Mary Paula is eager to explore the redneck side of her personality, and hearing Dr. Henry Jr.'s great cackling laugh when he's with his patients makes coming to work a lot of fun.

Kim - Lab. Tech.

I've been working in the dental field since 1976 and at Zaytoun Orthodontics since 1985. I love Dr. Henry Sr.'s stories and analogies, Dr. Mary Paula's funky shoes and glasses, and Dr. Henry Jr.'s laugh.

The best part of my job is working on the details and seeing the finished smiles.

I am originally from Florida but have lived in Raleigh for 29 years. I love spending time with my family, including my 2 beautiful grandchildren, and my dog. In my spare time, I enjoy painting and any "artsy" endeavors. One thing you probably don't know about me is that I was an extra in the movie "Patch Adams."

Carol Lynn: Marketing

As a family member working for my dad, sister and brother, I sometimes ask myself which is more challenging? Working for family? Or thinking up new, fun, interesting ways to inform, entertain and educate our patients and potential patients.

My education background is accounting but working at Zaytoun Orthodontics has allowed me to use the creative side of my brain in which I'll admit is a lot more fun! Designing T-shirts, screen savers, and patient games keeps me in the "know" of what's hot and what's not!

Zaytoun Orthodontics has the greatest patients in the world! They are enthusiastic and happy to come to our office, which makes it all worth while to me. I try hard to make sure we pay attention to every tiny detail from when a patient comes to us for the first appointment to the end of treatment and beyond! And when I say beyond ... I mean it. We have patients who are now bringing their kids to us, and grandkids to us! It is one big happy family here in more ways than one.

As I love and support my dad, sister and brother and all of our family, I have also instilled some great work ethic and dental enthusiasm to my immediate family as well. In fact, I have a son in dental school at UNC and a daughter who just graduated from UNC now working as a treatment assistant for us. Yes ... we're one big happy family ... patients, staff and relatives! I am truly blessed.
