What is the 7&Up Club?
The 7&Up Club is a free program offered by Zaytoun Orthodontics in Cary, Raleigh, and Garner, designed as an observation stage to monitor your child’s teeth and jaw growth and plan for future orthodontic needs. These appointments occur every six to twelve months at no cost to your family until it is time to begin your child’s treatment.
Why 7&Up Club?
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends all children get a check-up with an Orthodontic specialist no later than age 7. Early monitoring of teeth and jaw growth is a crucial part of preventing problems for your child as they reach their teenage and adult years. By seeing your child for early monitoring and prevention visits, Zaytoun Orthodontics can more easily prevent the following common issues:
- Permanent tooth extraction
- Abnormal facial growth by correcting tongue posture and thumb habit
- Airway problems and blockages & resulting health problems
- Future jaw surgery by correcting major jaw growth problems
- Permanent teeth impaction
- Uneven wear, damage and even loss of permanent teeth
- Abnormal speech development
